Preparing cockpit sole and its hatches

The wooden panels for the cockpit sole were cut from a new sheet of marine grade plywood of 3/8th thickness and then we cut the spaces for the hatches that will be underneath the cockpit. These spaces will be used for storage of goods and gears that will be needed for long stays on the boat.

Below are pictures of how it all looks. Nothing is glued yet. We were only placing them into their respective positions to make sure it all fits in.

The two holes will be cloed by the plastic hatches
